ever feel perpetually in motion?
every footstep presupposes another,
and another, and so on and so forth till you've been walking for days. for months. for your whole life.
and even in this constant motion, there are periods of rest. held breaths. double heartbeats. moments with a foot raised mid-air in trembling anticipation. but these are not enough.
you try to think of time as being a circle but you tread it on a straight and steadfast line.
and even on this line, nothing is absolute or certain. or truly black and white.
cosmic. karmic. physics.
nothing is absolute or certain.

except your perpetual motion.
and your eventual rest.
